Lightning Strike R

The Lightning Strike R is a high-performance electric superbike launched in 2023 by Lightning Motorcycles, an American manufacturer. It features a powerful 380V liquid-cooled axial flux motor delivering 180 horsepower at 12,000 RPM and 252 Nm of torque, making it one of the most powerful electric motorcycles globally. The bike is equipped with a 20 kWh battery pack providing a combined city/highway range of approximately 293 miles (471 km), with an optional 24 kWh Lightning-Fast Charge System (LFCS) extending the range to about 312 miles (502 km). Charging times are fast, with 12 minutes to 80% using LFCS, 35 minutes with Level 3, and 120 minutes with Level 2 chargers. The Strike R features premium components including fully adjustable Öhlins FGRT inverted front fork, Öhlins TTX GP rear shock, Brembo Monoblock calipers with dual 320 mm front discs, and a 245 mm rear disc with adjustable regenerative braking. The bike weighs approximately 206 kg (455 lbs) and has a seat height of 32 inches (813 mm). It is designed to deliver superbike-level performance with the smoothness and efficiency of electric power. The Lightning Strike R is not officially available in Bangladesh.
