Bajaj V12 Overview

The Bajaj V12 is a unique entrant in the commuter segment, carrying the legacy of the 'V' series, which famously incorporated metal from the decommissioned aircraft carrier INS Vikrant. Its design is a blend of a classic cafe racer and a modern commuter, featuring a muscular fuel tank and a distinctively shaped headlight that sets it apart from the standard commuter fare. The bike was designed to offer a premium feel to those who wanted something more substantial than a basic 100cc machine without stepping into the higher fuel costs of a 150cc bike.

At its heart, the V12 is powered by a 124.5cc single-cylinder, long-stroke engine. This engine is tuned to deliver better low-end torque rather than outright top-speed performance, making it highly efficient for stop-and-go traffic. While it lacks the raw power of the Pulsar series, its smooth power delivery and DTS-i technology ensure a reliable and fuel-efficient ride for daily urban navigation. The upright seating position and well-padded saddle emphasize rider comfort for long hours on the road.

Mechanically, the V12 kept things simple and robust.
