Launched as a 'sporty-commuter,' it integrated Bajaj's patented DTS-Si (Digital Twin Spark-Swirl Induction) technology. This engineering approach aimed to optimize fuel combustion, providing a punchy throttle response while maintaining the high mileage figures that daily riders prioritize.

Visually, the motorcycle borrowed styling cues from its larger siblings, featuring a muscular fuel tank, a sharp bikini fairing, and a distinct LED tail lamp assembly. The inclusion of a digital-analog instrument console was a premium touch for its time, offering riders a modern interface compared to the purely analog setups common in its category. Its lightweight diamond-type frame was engineered for flickability, making it particularly adept at slicing through dense urban traffic.
